Postal Voting Applications Open

If you can’t make it in person to an early voting centre or voting centre on polling day, postal voting is available.

If you are travelling, unwell, infirm or living with disability, located more than 8km from a polling booth or due to give birth soon, you may be eligible to apply for a postal vote. Learn more.

How to make a postal vote application?
Voters will have the convenience of applying for a postal vote online, via the new Postal Vote Application Portal or the ECSA call centre 1300 655 232.

Postal voting applications open online, TODAY, Monday February 2.

Postal voting applications close for voters outside of South Australia on March 13.

For voters within South Australia, the last day to apply is March 17.

Postal voting in the South Australian First Nations Voice to Parliament
Those who are eligible to vote in the South Australian First Nations Voice to Parliament can also register via the Postal Vote Application Portal on the ECSA website: ecsa.sa.gov.au. Those who are permanent postal voters will need to specifically register via the Postal Vote Application Portal to ensure they receive their postal voting pack for the First Nations Voice to Parliament election.

When will electors get their postal voting pack?
Postal voting packs will be distributed from March 10 once candidates are declared and ballot papers are printed.
